The Merrimack County 4-H Foundation provides scholarship opportunities and financial assistance for Merrimack 4-H youth and their families. These scholarships are made available to youth who are currently participating with 4-H clubs in Merrimack County. Funds are made available yearly for youth who apply.
Available Scholarships for Merrimack County 4-H Youth: (DUE MAY 1st)
- The Cheever Book Award is awarded to youth who need financial assistance for higher education opportunities. The Merrimack County 4-H Foundation provides financial assistance to 4-H youth attending a higher education institution such as a trade school, technical school, college, or university. 4-H members interested in applying for a higher education book award must fill out the application and submit the completed application to the Merrimack County 4-H Office by May 1st. You can either drop it off or mail it (must be postmarked no later than May 1st) to the Merrimack County 4-H Foundation, 315 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH 03303.
- Barry Conservation Scholarships are closed and funds have been distributed. But have you registered your child to attend a 4-H camp this summer other than Barry Conservation Camp ? Would you like financial assistance to help fund their camp session? Then fill out the Merrimack County 4-H Campership Application by May 1st and submit it to the Merrimack County 4-H Office at 315 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH 03303 to receive consideration for a Camp Scholarship!
- NH 4-H Teen Conference is at UNH in Durham. Teens spend four days making new friendships, connecting with old friends and developing leadership skills that will last a lifetime. The Merrimack County 4-H Foundation provides financial assistance to youth who attend the conference. To receive consideration for a scholarship you must fill out the Merrimack County 4-H Teen Conference Pre-Application and return completed to the Merrimack County 4-H Office by May 1st. ALL MERRIMACK COUNTY 4-H YOUTH MUST FILL OUT THE PRE-APPLICATION.

The Merrimack County 4-H Foundation is a non-profit charitable trust fund foundation whose purpose is to deal with, manage, expend, invest and reinvest the funds of the Foundation, principle and reserve. It is made up of members of the community who volunteer time to support 4-H and the youth in their community.
