New Hampshire 4-H offers program pathways as a way to create sequential learning experiences that sparks interest, builds mastery of skill, and grows true leaders. Each county specializes their pathways for the needs of their youth and families, while aligning with the National 4-H Mission Mandates (Healthy Living, Citizenship, and Science).

In an effort to build capacity through their pathway experiences, Coös County 4-H offers multiple opportunities and delivery options for youth and their families to engage. Whether you are new to 4-H or have been part of the 4-H world for a while, there is something for everyone! From hour-long educational experiences to multi-day workshops, youth can choose how much they want to be involved.  Below are the highlighted specific Coös County 4-H opportunities for the current program year.  Please contact the Coös County 4-H program staff for more information: Chris Whiting, christine.whiting@unh.edu.

4-H Agri-Science & Ecology Pathway:  4-H participants have the opportunity to learn about the natural world and the interconnectedness of living and non-living things through a variety of experiences.  The 4-H Agri-Science & Ecology pathway is designed to support learning for youth and families as learning experiences include but are not limited to stream ecology, sustainability, and gardening and food systems. Animal science projects are included in this pathway.

4-H Shooting Sports Pathway: 4-H Shooting Sports is a hands-on project, attractive to youth and adult audiences.  The curriculum is designed to assist young people in personal development, establish a personal environmental ethic and explore life-long vocational and leisure activities.  Participants will be able to enjoy many opportunities from the local level to national events.
