For questions or information about your forestland (approximately 10 acres or more) contact your County Forester.
Extension foresters help landowners achieve their goals and identify potential stewardship opportunities through site visits, workshops, educational materials, woods forums, and field days. We visit your property (~ 10 acres or more) for free, and help you achieve your goals for your property including forestry, recreation, wildlife habitat, water resources, scenic beauty, and more.
- Landowners - We visit your property, free of charge and help you achieve your woodlot objectives including forestry, recreation, wildlife habitat, water resources, scenic beauty and income.
- Communities - We help you manage town-owned lands, plan land conservation projects, identify natural resources and offer public educational workshops.
- Natural resource professionals - We offer professional development for foresters, loggers, wetland scientists, forest industry professionals, wildlife consultants and others.
For individual tree and backyard questions, contact the Education Center.
