Amy Loader
Amy Loader served as associate director for UNH Extension from 2016 until March 2024 when she stepped up as interim director. She brings a wealth of experience, dedication and knowledge to this role.
She joined Extension in 2001 as an agriculture educator, assigned to Belknap County (2001 – 2009), followed by Merrimack County (2009 – 2012). As an Extension educator, Amy contributed significantly to the success of sustainable agriculture programs and initiatives in New Hampshire and the Northeast. She also successfully led Extension’s Food and Agriculture Program (2012 – 2016). Her commitment to Extension’s mission and her proven leadership skills make her well-suited for the challenges and responsibilities that come with this position.

Advisory Councils
Each county hosts a 14-member advisory council that helps identify the educational needs of county residents and implement Extension programs. These all-volunteer councils meet no fewer than six times per year. Each county council includes a member of the county delegation and a representative from the county commissioners.
