Overview
UNH Cooperative Extension offers motivated undergraduate students from a range of backgrounds an opportunity to participate in a paid summer experience through our Extension Internships and Small Family Community Fellowships.
This 10-week summer internship experience includes orientation, weekly virtual professional development workshops, and an end-of-summer showcase. We use a cohort model, so you will be part of a group of interns, which gives you the opportunity to engage with other interns including the New Hampshire Sea Grant's Brian E. Doyle Undergraduate Marine Extension Fellowship, who are working throughout the state with Extension, Sea Grant, and non-profit organizations.
Extension interns and Small Family fellows work with their mentors and their cohort to develop as young professionals and help the university make an impact across New Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity to explore a career path with support and expand your professional network.
Extension Internships and Small Family Community Fellowships have different requirements for applying. Please read carefully about each (below) before applying.
