Harnessing the Mighty Mushroom: Are mushrooms a good fit for your farm?   

A 3-part educational program offered by UNH Cooperative Extension will explore adding mushroom production to your agricultural business or as a stand-alone enterprise. 

The sessions will be:  April 20, April 27 and May 4 from Noon to 1:30 pm via a Zoom webinar format. Each session will cover different aspects of mushroom cultivation and distribution. Producers from New Hampshire will be present to share their experiences and takeaways.  

  • April 20             Outdoor Log Production and Indoor Growing, Food Safety Considerations 
  • April 27             Value-added Processing, Packaging, and Labeling 
  • May 4                 Marketing and Sales 
There is no cost for this workshop, but registration is REQUIRED.
