All are welcome to this free, two-day immersion into astronomy and space for astronomers and space explorers of all ages and education levels.   Food and beverages available for purchase on site. 

Friday,  October 4
7 - 11:00 p.m.

Heidi Hammel, Ph.D.  will kick off the festival with the keynote  lecture. Join us afterwards for laser pointer talks under the stars and observing of the night sky at the observatory. We’ll be looking at the moon, Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and many beautiful deep sky objects such as galaxies, star clusters and nebulae.

 

Saturday, October 5 
 10:30 A.M - 11:00 p.m.

Join us for educational activities, games, safe solar observing, science talks, demonstrations, raffle drawings, our famous telescope clinics and Astro prize raffle, followed by a night of stargazing!

 

SATURDAY BONUS

UNH's Ocean Discovery Day's Public Open House is happening with free shuttle service in between the two free events. More at: marine.unh.edu/ODD
