4-H Presents Demo Day is an opportunity for 4-H youth to demonstrate their presentation skills and subject matter knowledge in a fun welcoming space. Every 4-H member is encouraged to give a presentation each year. A 4-H presentation can be a demonstration, action exhibit, public speech, poster, photo, fashion revue and more! Through presentations, youth learn to research a subject, organize their ideas into a logical order, and practice public speaking skills. There are opportunities for kids to enter individually or in teams. This workshop will provide more information about 4-H Presents Demo Day and offer the opportunity for youth to ask questions and practice a potential presentation. Participants are encouraged to come in person, but a Zoom option is available (and will be utilized for ALL registered participants in case of inclement weather). |
