Silvopasture Twilight Meetings: June 30th - UNH Organic Dairy Research Farm at Burley-Demeritt

This tour will be completely outdoors.

Join us for a tour of UNH’s silvopasture located on the Organic Dairy Farm where we will discuss recent harvesting to expand the silvopasture and establish forage. UNH Extension, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and UNH Woodlands staff will be on hand to talk the process of establishing a silvopasture, equipment used during this process, and issues to consider when deciding to develop a silvopasture. This meeting will also provide time to discuss UNH’s Adaptive Agroforestry Principles & Teaching (ADAPT) program focusing on research and outreach in New England on agroforestry practices such as silvopastures.
