In this interactive 2-day professional workshop, participants will learn about and practice designing landscapes that are attractive, ecologically functional, and healthy for local lakes, rivers, streams, and bays.

This year’s session is held at the Great Bay National Estuarian Research Reserve in Greenland, NH. Participants will apply what they learn in the workshop sessions as we explore this real-world site and design a landscape that incorporates strategies for enhancing ecological functions, reducing runoff, and protecting water quality in Great Bay.  The strategies and concepts learned in this workshop will be applicable to the design and maintenance of landscapes that impact waters both on the coast and inland.
