For ages 8-12
Set Sail with STEM at the NH Boat Museum is a hands-on 3-day adventure where youth ages 8–12 explore the science, engineering, and history of boats through exciting design challenges, water experiments, and model boat building. Participants will discover how boats float and move, learn about the rich boating history of New Hampshire lakes, and create their own working boat designs in this fun, interactive STEM experience!
All 4-H summer programs have a participation fee; the fee for this program is $50, payable to Carroll County 4-H, due on the first day of the program. Scholarships are available.
To participate, youth need to be enrolled in 4-H using ZSuite. Your enrollment must be submitted and approved by county staff before you can register for events that require 4-H enrollment. For more information on enrolling in ZSuite please see our ZSuite Enrollment Guide & Resources.
