Agricultural Business Management and Agritourism Support Business Hours

With summertime in full swing, taking a few minutes to check on your farm's records and finances can help set your business up for end of season success. We are excited to offer agricultural business management and Agritourism support for the farmers of Hillsborough County by creating open office hours for the month of July. Farmers can sign up for a timeslot to meet with our county agricultural business management specialist either virtually or in person at our Goffstown office. 

Here's how Extension's Ag Business Management team can support you during these sessions:

• Help with financial record keeping such as creating templates or organizing records
• Reviewing current financial sheets like cashflow statements and profit & loss statements to find areas of cost savings
• Writing job descriptions 
• Cost comparing equipment purchasing and production methodologies 
• Understanding if your business can afford to hire labor 
• Simplified finances for small farms/homesteads or beginning farms
• Writing and using SOP's (standard operating procedures)
• Enterprise planning and analysis
• Agritourism planning, questions, and ideas
