Cut Flower Twilight Meeting at Woodman Farm in Durham

Join UNH Extension for a cut flower twilight meeting on campus at the Woodman Horticultural Research Farm. Focused on cold-hardy hydrangeas as a cut flower crop, we'll walk the trial plots with NH Agricultural Experiment Station researcher Dr. Becky Sideman. Becky will share findings from a multi-year cultivar trial—including differences in bloom time, stem quality, vase life, and suitability for cut flower production in New England's climate.  

The evening will close with a discussion where growers can share experiences and troubleshoot together around production challenges, postharvest handling, and marketability of woody-stemmed flowers.  

This event is designed for commercial cut flower growers and anyone interested in adding woodies to their operation.
