The Seacoast Seaperch Regional Competition is an annual event held at the Swasey Pool on the campus of the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. The event includes different challenges for the Seaperch teams to complete.
The 2024 challenge follows the format of the International Seaperch Challenge and includes an obstacle course to test the ROVs' speed and maneuverability, a recovery mission to test the teams ability to move and manipulate objects and a technical report for teams to highlight their design process.
Seacoast Seaperch Challenge General Competition Rules
Pool course design can be found in the 2024 International Seaperch Challenge Team Handbook. Please see the Seacoast SeaPerch General Competition rules document for rules specific to our regional competition.
Register Here
Registration for teams is a two-step process.
The Team Registration phase is a pre-registration placeholder, each school, group or organization can pre-register up to 2 teams to compete in the competition. Each team must consist of 2-6 students, and up to 2 coaches. You do not need to know exact numbers or team members. Any additional teams that you would like to have compete will go onto our waiting list. We are limited to 50 teams, so register as soon as you can!
Closer to the event, teams that have pre-registered will be given a secondary registration link to provide the exact number of students on each team along with their information. Team payment of $25 per team member will be due at this time. Final registration will be due in late February, 2024. All teams must pre-register to get a link for final registration.
