This online twilight meeting has been planned for farmers to increase awareness around the science of carbon sequestration, how forest management practices impact carbon sequestration, and how USDA/NRCS programs may provide some compensation for good management practices tied to carbon sequestration. We will also hear from two of the carbon market developers currently working with landowners to better understand how such agreements may fit in as part of a revenue stream for forest/land owners.
