Join the Hillsborough County farm Bureau at the farm for a fall soil science social!  Our guest speaker will be Dr. Renuka Mathur with UNH Cooperative Extension. Dr. Mathur is our new soil health state specialist, and she will present on how soil health can affect many facets of agricultural production. The presentation will be geared for all field uses, including vegetables and hay, so there will be great information for all!  The night will include a tour of Trombly Gardens and highlight how fall field preparation practices and procedures are handled on the farm. The Hillsborough county conservation district will be in attendance to display and discuss some of their new equipment rental options, including a no till drill and lime/wood ash spreader. Equipment displays will be provided by Brookdale farm supplies. If you are interested in joining the Hillsborough County farm bureau, this event would be a great place to do so! County annual meeting dinner will be held after the presentations. Dinner will be provided by Trombly Gardens. Dinner will be $20 dollars for non-members.  Registration Required.
