4-H members 8 and older are invited to participate in the 2025 NH 4-H Working Steer clinic! Youth can bring their working steer teams and learn from experts and 4-H volunteers about how to get their projects ready for show season (youth are not required to bring their animals, and are still encouraged to participate).
*Animals that attend this event must follow all NH 4-H Animal Guidelines (including a rabies vaccine 30 days prior to the event). All the guidelines can be found at: https://extension.unh.edu/new-hampshire-4-h/pathways/new-hampshire-4-h-animal-science.
REGISTER: through ZSuite by June 12th.
COST: $20 *Food will be provided for the event and participants will receive a t-shirt

9:00-9:30: Check in and Registration
9:45-10:30: Feeding your Steers for Success
10:30-12:00: Tips and Tricks for Fit and Show
12:00-1:00: Lunch (during lunch youth 12 and older will learn about the opportunity to be on the NH 4-H Working Steer Team that competes at The Big E in September)
1:00-2:30: Cart class work, Drag/ stone boat class work (groups will swap)
2:30-4:00: Cart class work, Drag/ stone boat class work (groups will swap)
4:00: pack up and head home
