February 24 | Fertilizer basics for containerized production:  selecting, mixing, and adjusting |  Speaker: Jonathan Ebba

Proper fertilizer selection, mixing, monitoring and adjustment are critical skills for containerized crop production.  Improper fertilizer use results in wrong timing, poor plant quality, wasted money, increased pest and disease pressure, increased incidence of root rots, increased negative environmental impacts and decreased profitability.  In this webinar, we will review proper fertilizer selection, handling and mixing techniques as well as how to monitor and fine tune concentrations based on electrical conductivity.  We will also look at using UNH Extension's free app to help with these calculations.
