2026 NH 4-H Horse Judging Contest

The NH 4-H Horse Judging contest provides members an opportunity to evaluate a class of horses, place the horses, and have their placings scored in comparison to the official placing.  Members may choose to do judging reasons (required for seniors interested in being a member of the NH 4-H Horse Judging team.)  

*Attention ALL 4-Hers  - You may only compete in the Hippology OR Horse Judging contests for 2026.  Information about the Hippology contest can be found here: 2026 NH 4-H Hippology Contest

Registration Information  

  • This event is open to youth ages 8-18.
  • Registration Closes March 8, 2026.
  • All youth participants must make sure they are enrolled for the current 4-H year through ZSuite. If you have not enrolled for the 2025-26 4-H Year please use these instructions here to get started.
  • This event will need several volunteers to ensure the contests run smoothly. If you’re interested in helping, please complete this form.  

Entry Fee:

Each contestant must pay a $10.00 entry fee. (If clubs or counties are wishing to cover the cost of registration, reach out to ashley.youngheim@unh.edu). If the cost of the program poses a financial challenge to your family, please contact  Ashley.youngheim@unh.edu for scholarship opportunities.
