Our community’s open spaces offer more than beautiful views—they provide places to explore and recharge, support local economies, improve water quality, and provide vital habitat for plants and animals. When we care for our land, we strengthen all these benefits.
Whether you steward lots of land or a small yard, your actions can make a difference across our community. Join us for an introduction to land conservation options and stewardship actions that you can do to care for the natural spaces you love.
Learn about the benefits of natural spaces and the practical steps you can take to keep your trees healthy, create welcoming wildlife habitat, and protect the water resources that sustain us all. A panel of presenters will share their knowledge of approachable stewardship actions you can take to benefit our natural environment.
Come learn, ask questions, and leave inspired to make your land part of a natural and resilient landscape!
Speakers include:
Sara Callaghan, Community Conservation Field Specialist, UNH Cooperative Extension
Ellen Snyder, Ibis Wildlife Consulting
Lindsay Watkins, UNH Cooperative Extension County Forester
