NH Coverts Project Volunteers Working for Wildlife

NH Coverts volunteers are landowners, local decision-makers, teachers, business people, writers, retirees — anyone who wants to help wildlife in New Hampshire.

GET TRAINED

Volunteers attend a one-time 3½- day training workshop held each spring. You’ll learn about wildlife conservation, forest stewardship, and effective outreach from a team of natural resource professionals.

TAKE ACTION

In exchange for the training, volunteers become wildlife and forest stewards in their communities and motivate others to do the same. Since 1999, Coverts volunteers have made a difference for New Hampshire’s wildlife by managing habitat, promoting a stewardship ethic, serving on town boards, protecting land, and much more.
