Join us for this in-person tree fruit twilight meeting where topics will include:

  • Land development walking tour
    • Water management, fencing, and irrigation
  • Extending your market: various PYO fruit, hard cider, and donuts
    • Growing different fruit for PYO and overlapping harvest times
    • Tour of cider facility
  • Excluding pests: bird netting and disease management
    • Bird netting
    • Sweet and sour cherry production - pruning and rootstock choice
    • Botrytis management
    • Tower Sprayer demonstration
  • “After hours” – cider tasting and pizza

Please note that you do need to register if you plan to stay for "after hours" pizza and hard cider. We need your registration by Thursday, May 15th, so we can be sure there is plenty of food for all. Email liza.degenring@unh.edu for the registration form.
