
Liza DeGenring is a Field Specialist in Fruit and Vegetable Production, in the UNH Cooperative Extension Food and Agriculture Program. Liza works directly with vegetable, tree fruit, and small fruit commercial farmers in New Hampshire on issues such as integrated pest and disease management, soil fertility, and cover cropping.
Liza is trained in applied plant pathology and crop protection and has specialized experience with the use of bioproducts for suppression of plant diseases in a wide range of horticultural crops and cropping systems.
Liza received her B.S. in Environmental Geoscience from Boston College, and her M.S. and PhD in Agricultural Science from UNH.
