The AYHC Symposium presents an opportunity for adult and student leaders in the youth horse industry to learn, network, share ideas and grow as an industry. The 45th Annual American Youth Horse Council Symposium will be held March 18-20, 2022, in Murfreesboro, TN. Theme: From the Book to the Barn - Educational Tools to Teach Safe, Effective Horsemanship​.  The AYHC Symposium is a 3-day conference is an educational and leadership opportunity, where 4-H youth and adult staff and volunteers learn and share information on equine health, welfare, and industry trends.  Participants have an opportunity to tour farms and see equine related demonstrations.

The NH 4-H Marketing YOU Process for NH 4-H Youth delegates to the American Youth Horse Council (AYHC) Symposium.

This packet is specific to applying to be a youth delegate to the AYHC Symposium, Murfreesboro TN March 18-20th, 2022.  Applicants must be 15 years old as of January 1, 2022 and have been in at least their 3rd year as a 4-H member. You must submit an application checklist, a cover letter, a resume and a 2-3 minute video sharing why you would like to go to the AYHC Symposium to 4-H Field Specialist mary.davis@unh.edu by December 10thto be eligible for this opportunity.  A group interview will be held December 20th at 7 pm via Zoom, and awardees notified by Thursday, December 23rd.
