In 2010 and 2011, we evaluated eleven green and five yellow zucchini cultivars in replicated field trials at the NH Agricultural Experiment Station in Durham, NH.
In general, the yellow zucchini varieties produced smaller fruits and had lower yields. However, two yellow varieties outperformed most green varieties. Varieties differed in yield, degree of spinelessness, fruit size/shape and susceptibility to powdery mildew. Access the full report for more details.
