Hannah Arroyo, of Northwood, has joined UNH Extension as an assistant producer for the marketing and communications team. She will divide her time between the Rockingham County and Hillsborough County offices and will work closely with county staff on a variety of storytelling efforts to advance Extension’s mission of making life better in New Hampshire.

Arroyo recently graduated from Suffolk University in Boston where she received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. She has experience in reporting, having interned at WHDH Channel 7 News Boston and served as a student reporter for NECN Boston. She also took on the role of sports editor for the Suffolk Journal.

Beyond writing and reporting, Arroyo’s skillset includes videography, photography, social media engagement and marketing. Most recently, she interned at the Granite State Children’s Alliance and completed an educational series called Fenway Sports Management University.

“I’m so excited to be joining the Extension team where I’ll officially be starting my career in marketing and communications. I’m optimistic about what the future holds, and I can’t wait to learn and grow from all of my new co-workers,” she said.
