It is important to check whether a pesticide product is registered in New Hampshire to ensure that it is legal and safe to use within the state. The New Hampshire Department of Agriculture, Markets & Food requires all pesticide products sold or used in the state to be registered. This requirement helps protect public health, the environment, and agricultural interests. Using an unregistered pesticide can result in fines, health risks, and environmental damage.
The list of registered products is updated annually, so it's important to check the most current version—especially when using a new product. This list also includes 25(b) products, which are exempt from federal EPA registration but are still required to be registered in New Hampshire.
If the product you want to use does not appear on the list, we recommend contacting the Division of Pesticide Control. They can assist in determining whether the product can be registered for use in New Hampshire.
