Dr. Xiaochen Yuan (University of New Hampshire) will provide an overview of his work related to grapevine trunk diseases including the research program he is launching at UNH, and how growers can be involved and provide input.

Cold-Climate Grape Variety Performance: 8 Years of Trial Results
Dr. Terry Bradshaw (University of Vermont Extension) will share key findings from long‑running cold‑climate grape trials, highlighting varieties that perform well under northern conditions and how variety selection can reduce management challenges.

Weather Tools for Smarter Vineyard Decisions through the Network for Environment and Weather Applications (NEWA)
Dr. Terry Bradshaw will show how vineyard‑specific weather data and disease forecasting tools can support better timing of sprays and other management practices. Dr. Bradshaw will demonstrate current NEWA tools relevant to cold‑climate grape production.

NH Enology: Aromatic White Wines
Grower Panel. Three New Hampshire winemakers will discuss the opportunities and challenges of producing aromatic white wines in northern regions. This peer‑to‑peer conversation will explore varietal choices, styles, and market potential for expressive whites.

Hands‑On Vineyard Session: Summer Pruning & Disease Scouting
We will be out in the vineyard with Dr. Bradshaw and Dr. Rebecca Sideman (UNH) for a guided walk focusing on summer pruning, canopy management, and identifying active disease issues during the growing season. We will facilitate an interactive discussion with producers throughout the vineyard walk.
