On September 2nd, Kyle Lombard, Forest Entomologist, NH Division of Forests and Lands, Forest Health Program Coordinator, NH Division of Forests and Lands, and Allison Kanoti, State Entomologist, Maine Forest Service – Division of Forest Health & Monitoring, presented information on forest health issues facing Spruce/Fir forests in the North Country. Kyle presented balsam woolly adelgid and its impact to fir in NH, and Allison covered spruce budworm and the current expectations for outbreak.
