We're thrilled to announce that the UNH Cooperative Extension Community and Economic Development (CED) team recently brought home two prestigious regional awards from the 2025 National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals (NACDEP) Annual Conference in Charleston, West Virginia! These accolades highlight the exceptional dedication and impact of our CED professionals across New Hampshire.
The team received the Excellence in Team Work Award for their monumental effort in the Manchester, NH Zoning Ordinance re-write. This project saw UNH CED staff engage directly with over 1,100 Manchester residents, demonstrating an unparalleled commitment to community-driven development.
In addition, the CED team was recognized with the Diversity Award for Expanding Digital Opportunity in NH. This award celebrates their vital work in bridging the digital divide and ensuring equitable access to essential resources across the state.
Huge congratulations and thank you to the entire UNH Extension CED team for their outstanding contributions! We especially want to recognize the leadership and hard work of Team Leader, Dr. Charlie French, Field Specialists Scott Slattery, Rebecca Levy, Sue Cagle, and Nate Bernitz, and CED Program Manager Patricia Prescott. Your commitment to New Hampshire's communities is truly inspiring!
