During May 2022, twenty-three conservation-minded individuals from twenty different New Hampshire communities met online, reviewed resources, and attended field trips as part of the 2022 NH Coverts Project training.
This new group of volunteers learned about forest ecology, wildlife habitats, forest and habitat management, and land conservation, and left the final training session ready to return to their communities as stewards of New Hampshire's wildlife and habitats. The NH Coverts Project now involves more than 475 trained volunteers throughout the state of New Hampshire in promoting wildlife conservation and forest stewardship!
