4-H Flight Path - A parent/guardian and youth 4-H program

Wednesdays, June 3, 10, 17 & 24 | 5:00 - 7:00pm

The Sandwich Fairgrounds
7 Wentworth Hill Road, Sandwich, NH

For: ages 10 and up with a parent or guardian, youth 12 and older may attend on their own if desired

Join us for this four-week model airplane program. This four-week Flight Path program teaches participants to build and fly balsa wood model aircraft. Youth, and parents/guardians, will build a different craft each session, including a simple glider and a rubber band propelled airplane. Everyone will learn basic construction techniques and a bit about trimming model planes for optimum flight. Each session will end with a round of flying and some friendly competition.

4-H Shooting Sports - Rifle 1, Rifle 2, and Shotgun

Winnipesaukee Sportsmen's Club
616 Gov. Wentworth Highway, Moultonborough, NH

Cost: $5 per student (includes ammunition) due at first class

Learn the essential concepts such as proper stance, eye dominance, safety rules, and target tracking while gaining the hands-on practice needed to develop responsible firearms habits.

A day of flight where you will build your own balsa and tissue rubber band powered airplane. Participants should have a little bit of patience and some basic crafting or tinkering skills.
