Scenes from the 2026 NH Coverts Project Workshop

2026 Coverts gathered in an open field

From May 6-9, 2026, twenty-five conservation-minded individuals from twenty-one different New Hampshire communities gathered in Greenfield, NH for the 2026 NH Coverts Project Workshop.

This new group of volunteers learned about forest ecology, wildlife habitats, forest and habitat management, conservation, and effective outreach, and left the workshop ready to return to their communities as stewards of New Hampshire's wildlife and habitats. The NH Coverts Project involves more than 500 trained volunteers throughout the state of New Hampshire in promoting wildlife conservation and forest stewardship.
