Who: Youth 12 and older

Dates: Saturday, June 22nd | 10am-2pm and Saturday, June 29th | 10am-2-pm (youth must attend both sessions)

    Cost: FREE

    The 4-H Babysitters Training Course is for you if you are interested in taking care of younger children, be a mother's helper or the go-to neighborhood babysitter. Get familiar with child development, nutrition, safety & First Aid and earn your Certificate of Completion. 

    The 4-H Babysitters Training Course teaches youth ages 12 and older what they need to know to be caring, trustworthy, responsible and competent babysitters. The course includes units on:

    • Safety 
    • First Aid 
    • Child Development 
    • Nutrition 
    • Entertaining Children 
    • Business of Babysitting 

    Total duration of the course is about 8 hours. It's mandatory to attend both sessions. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from UNH Extension and 4-H.
