Turn your humble SPUD into a sweet potato

It’s A Contest!

At the Cornish Fair August 16-18

Now that you have a seed potato to plant, save a few for the fair to enter as is, or jump right into this SPUDTACULAR contest.

Disguise a potato, so that it appears to be something other than a potato! Dress it in a costume, create farm animals or add different things to it, use your imagination and transform it however you want. Then, come up with a creative name for your creation and bring it to the fair for display.

All Clover Buds will receive a participation ribbon. For youth 8 and up, this entry is eligible for a fair premium in the craft entry category and there will be a special area in the exhibit hall where all the SPUDS will be showcased. There will also be one special spud that will earn the honor of Best of Show SPUD!
