This immersive and hands-on learning opportunity is designed to help participants hone skills in areas of chainsaw and tractor safety, operation, and maintenance. Some experience or familiarity with operating equipment or chainsaws will be helpful for those intending to register for this event.
Over the course of two days, you can expect to spend quality time building community with your fellow farmers and landowners while learning new skills about task planning and efficiency, controlling maintenance costs, and exploring new enterprises to add to your operation.
We will provide a light breakfast/coffee both days as well as lunch options. Reach out to kendall.kunelius@unh.edu for questions.
Cost: $275 - limited spaces available
A fee is charged for this Extension program to cover costs. A limited number of scholarships are available to individuals unable to pay. Contact Kendall Kunelius at kendall.kunelius@unh.edu if you need assistance.
