Managing the Christmas Tree Business
Part of the Workshop Series: The Business of Growing Christmas Trees - from Site Selection to Sales
Join us for a workshop on Christmas tree business management. Topics covered will include bookkeeping, financial statements, budgeting, inventories, capital gains, and other tax issues. This will be an open discussion with a question-and-answer session, so please bring any questions you have and feel free to share your own experiences. This class will be offered as a hybrid in-person and on-line event. The workshop will take place at The Rocks Estate, Forest Society North, 113 Glessner Road, Bethlehem, NH and on-line. On-line participants will receive the meeting password prior to the workshop.

This is the third workshop in a series on The Business of Growing Christmas Trees – From Site Selection to Sales. The fourth and final session being planned for April 2025 is "Site selection and soil testing, site preparation, planting, weed control, fertilizing".
Attendees are welcome to participate in any or all of the workshops offered in this series. While each workshop stands alone, they are designed to be most effective when attended in their entirety.
Registration for this workshop is due January 23. There is a $30 per person registration fee for this event.*
