Garden Strong – How to Stay Healthy as a Gardener

Are you a gardener who spends so much time digging, weeding, watering, and hauling mulch that you are sore and tired at the end of the day? Learn some simple and important techniques for reducing stress on your body so you can garden without pain or injury. You’ll also be introduced to some adaptive tools that will make gardening easier for anyone. Gardening strong and smart is the key to being able to continue to grow plants for many years.

Presenters: Patti Buck, retired Physical Therapist and UNH Extension Master Gardener and Doris Buco, certified Therapeutic Horticulturalist and UNH Extension Master Gardener

$10 for NH Audubon members/Extension Master Gardeners

$15 for non-members

Should snow cancellation be necessary, notifications will be determined and sent on February 16. Refunds or credit for a cancelled class may be requested.

Logistics (inside/outside, what to bring): This presentation will be indoors. Dress in comfortable clothing and be prepared to move and stretch.
