Join NH 4-H for this NEW event- the Rabbit, Cavy and Poultry Clinic!
4-H members are invited to join fellow 4-H members and volunteers for a day of hands on workshops, diving deeper into rabbit, cavy and poultry 4-H project areas. Workshop topics include showmanship, raising animals for market, opportunities beyond NH, and more! 4-H members 8-18 are invited to participate.
Registration Fee: $10 for ages 8-18 and $5 for ages 5-7.

Schedule:
9:30am: Registration Open
10:00am: Welcome and Keynote speech (Makenzie Chauncy, Blue Seal)
10:00am-12:00pm: Cloverbud Corner Open
10:30-10:55am: Workshop Rotation 1
11:00-11:25am: Workshop Rotation 2
11:30am-12:00pm: Workshop Rotation 3
4-H participants will choose 3 of the 6 stations and rotate every 30 mins. Stations include:
- Poultry Showmanship with Seth Johnson
- Rabbit Showmanship with Adam Parker and Paul Jurgelonis
- Cavy Showmanship and Intro to Cavy Project with JoAnn McGowan
- Meat rabbit and Broiler Chicken Projects with the NH 4-H Livestock Auction with Kaylie Madore and Hannah Majewski
- Rabbit Hopping with Tanya Parker
- Skill-a-Thon with Bethany Craig and the NH 4-H Ag Ambassadors
12:00-1:00pm: Lunch break (4-H members should bring their own lunch)
1:00-1:45pm: Quiz Bowl Fun lead by the NH 4-H Ag Ambassadors
1:45-2:30pm: Wrap up, announcements and door prizes awarded!
Throughout the day, booths will be set up around the school for 4-H members and parents to interact with during down time. Booths include rabbit ear tattooing, state poultry testing, Blue Seal nutrition, 4-H information table, NH 4-H Ag Ambassadors, Intro to Cavy Project, and rabbit toy making.
4-H Gear and Clothing Swap!
4-H members can bring outgrown show clothes, extra 4-H t-shirts, or rabbit or chicken equipment in good usable condition to swap.
