Non-native upland invasive plants pose a serious threat to forest productivity and natural environments in New Hampshire. This workshop, designed for foresters, natural resource professionals, licensed pesticide applicators, and landowners, will provide participants with a foundation on managing invasive species in New Hampshire including principles of weed ecology, wildlife habitat considerations, integrated vegetation management, project planning strategies, and available tools and resources. Strategies for managing glossy buckthorn and Japanese knotweed using an integrated vegetation management approach will be emphasized during this workshop.
