The Teen Leadership Retreat is the launch of the 4-H program year for tweens and teens ages 12-18. This overnight experience gathers teens from across New Hampshire to empower them to become ready for the year ahead. Each teen is challenged to find their spark through hands-on content specific workshops that align with each NH Ambassador pathway. When not being guided through workshops they have self-selected into groups to develop the remaining pieces of retreat (evening activity, morning ice breaker and youth-adult partnership challenge game). Their involvement in planning alongside their peers fosters initial relationship building through trust-building activities, communication, and goal-setting.  With guidance from advisors and teen mentors, they cultivate autonomy, leadership, and a sense of community, preparing them to create welcoming environments and make a positive impact locally.

What to Expect:

  • Hands-on workshops designed to light a spark in a new interest
  • Collaborative team-building activities with like-minded teens
  • Evening activities, morning icebreakers, and challenges designed by YOU!
  • Opportunities to connect with peers from across New Hampshire

Cost: $90
