Agenda

9:30 a.m. – Check-in, coffee, and donuts

  • Bill Pitts: Sampling of new MAIA apple selections

9:55 a.m. – Welcome

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Pruning demonstrations in the field, including pruning and training 1–6-year-old tall spindle apple trees (Cowgill and Clements); hedging equipment best practices and demonstration (Hardy); and MAIA-specific variety discussion (Pitts)

Pruning of select semi-dwarf trees will also be demonstrated if there is audience interest.


Registration & Fee

Suggested donation: $10 per person or $20 per farm (up to 4 people).
Cash or checks made payable to NHFGA are accepted.
Bring your pruning crew!

Dress warmly—the meeting will be held rain, snow, or shine.
