This training is designed to help agricultural producers gain foundational knowledge required for using pesticides.
Anyone applying pesticides of any type in the production of agricultural commodities (fruits, vegetables, forage crops, ornamentals, Christmas trees, etc) in NH is required to hold a NH pesticide applicator permit or license. This training will help producers prepare to take the NH state exams and will cover core concepts of pesticide use, pesticide safety, and NH pesticide rules and regulations.
The course includes two half-days of instruction followed by a third day on which participants may take the NH state exams.
This course is offered at three locations across the state. When registering, choose the location and dates convenient for you.
- Sullivan County, Newport, NH - Monday March 9, 16 & 23
- Carroll County, Conway, NH - Tuesday March 10, 17 & 24
- Hillsborough County, Goffstown, NH - Thursday March 12, 19 & 26
The fee for the training is $60.00 per person, which covers both instructional days. Additional state fees are required for the exam application.
