Your soil test is only useful if you know what to do with it.
In this hands-on workshop, we'll walk through a soil test report together — learning how to read the results, understand the recommendations, and do the math to put them into practice.
Topics covered:
- Reading and interpreting a soil test report
- Common unit conversions used in agriculture (lbs/acre ↔ oz/sq ft and more)
- How to read a fertilizer label and choose the right product
- Calculating nutrient rates for your field or plot
- Split fertilizer applications for more efficient nutrient management
Attendees will work through practice problems and leave with the skills to apply fertilizer recommendations on farm.
If you or an employee would like to attend, please RSVP to Will Hastings, by Thursday, April 30th.
If you’re unable to attend but still interested in exploring your crop fertility, feel free to reach out and schedule a meeting.
