NH 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl Entry and Rules

The New Hampshire 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl Contest is a state-level contest offered to New Hampshire 4-H youth. It is recommend but not required that members participate in their County 4-H Quiz Bowl Contest and/or county preparation events. Quiz Bowl is a knowledge competition where contestants race to answer questions of varying difficulty using a game buzzer board system.

If it is necessary to postpone due to weather, a decision will be made by 6 am on the day of the contest; the coach or contact person for each team will be notified via email and an announcement will be placed on the NH 4-H Horse Program Facebook Page .  If in doubt, check your email or facebook!

You do not need to have a horse -- just have an interest in horses and a desire to learn morel!  For more information on how to get involved in your local county 4-H quiz bowl program (or other county's programs), please contact your county UNH Cooperative Extension 4-H Program Coordinator. The contact information for your county UNH Cooperative Extension office can be found by clicking here

The New Hampshire 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl Contest serves as a selection event for the New Hampshire 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl state team. The top eight senior individuals will be offered further training to prepare for the Regional and possibly National Contests. The NH 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl contest is supported by a grant from the 4-H Foundation of New Hampshire.
