The New Hampshire 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl Contest is a state-level contest offered to New Hampshire 4-H youth. It is recommend but not required that members participate in their County 4-H Quiz Bowl Contest and/or county preparation events. Quiz Bowl is a knowledge competition where contestants race to answer questions of varying difficulty using a game buzzer board system. Scroll down for entry information and details.
If it is necessary to postpone due to weather, a decision will be made by 6 am on the day of the contest; the coach or contact person for each team will be notified via email and an announcement will be placed on the NH 4-H Horse Program Facebook Page . If in doubt, check your email or facebook!
You do not need to have a horse -- just have an interest in horses and a desire to learn morel! For more information on how to get involved in your local county 4-H quiz bowl program (or other county's programs), please contact your county UNH Cooperative Extension 4-H Program Coordinator. The New Hampshire 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl Contest serves as a selection event for the New Hampshire 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl state team. The top eight senior individuals will be offered further training to prepare for the Regional and possibly National Contests. The NH 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl contest is supported by a grant from the 4-H Foundation of New Hampshire.

Questions
Each junior or senior team is encouraged to submit 20 questions prior to the entry date. Questions must be newly written and creative. We save questions from year to year, so please do not submit repeat questions. For guidance on writing questions, see the following document:NH Horse Quiz Bowl Question Writing Guidelines
