Engineers help solve many of the world’s toughest problems. Join us as we take on an engineering challenge using the same design process used by engineers all over the world. The problem at hand? Time and how we measure it. Can you imagine your life with no clocks or alarms or timers? Probably not. In this 4-week program, youth will learn about the concept of time and why we need tools to help us measure time. Youth will then engineer their own timekeeping device to accurately measure time for an event in their everyday lives!
Ages 11-14
Program runs on Wednesdays Jan 4, Jan 11, Jan 18 & Jan 24; 4 - 5:30pm.
