This is a 3-part virtual series: March 8, March 15 and March 22.
In a virtual environment 4-Hers will learn about advocating at the local level. They will gain knowledge and make a plan to:
- Identify the issues.
- Determine the desired outcomes.
- Identify key stakeholders and key influencers.
- Remember what’s important to your community.
The “issue” could be as simple as not enough youth knowing about how great 4-H is, or could be something bigger. This series can cater to individual or collective group work. Groups will get to choose if they work on a flier to present at an event inviting their local representatives to the “next” opportunity, whether that be an awards night, county fair, etc. or to record a public service announcement (PSA) to hit the local air waves.
Open to members ages 12 - 18. Register for this free 3-part series through 4-H Online by March 1.
