Kristen Lyons

Kristen Lyons is a seasoned nonprofit professional with over 20 years of experience working with youth and families. Her passion lies in positive youth development, with a focus on fostering resiliency and supporting identity development. Kristen's approach emphasizes youth-adult partnerships, building trust, and promoting autonomy among young people. Her focus as a 4-H youth development professional is to support New Hampshire’s adolescent population to be ‘Ready for Life’. With the goal of lifelong success, youth’s perseverance, curiosity, kindness, integrity, social intelligence and critical thinking are only a handful of examples of life ready characteristics Teen Leadership programming supports.
 

Kristen has a M.S. in Family Science with a specialization in adolescent development from UNH '13 and a B.A. in English and minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders from UNH '06.
