This challenge is a 2-part photo scavenger hunt. You must capture & document foliage for both Landscapes and activities to complete the challenge. The presence of color in the scavenger hunt is key. Red, Orange, Yellow, and green leaves must feature to some degree in your photos. There is an additional section that will ask you to do a little research about fall foliage that must be done to complete the challenge.
Challenge runs from September 16 to November 1. Register by contacting your county 4-H office.
HOW THE CHALLENGE OPERATES:
- Choose at least 3 Landscapes and 2 Activities from the qualifying list. Or if you have another Fall-related activity in mind that is not on the list then Go For It!
- Participate in a family, 4-H Club, or group outing related to Fall
- Fill out a logbook. The pages will guide you through the challenge. You will need to take photos, print them, and adhere them to this logbook.
- Return your filled-out logbook to your county 4-H office by November 8th.
- We will send your completed logbook and your limited edition Fall Foliage Challenge patch back to you.
