Purchasing Supplies:
Prior to Camp, you will need to choose a pattern and purchase all the materials needed to make that quilt, including fabric, batting, embroidery floss, and thread. We have a large supply of thread available to share, but if you want a specific color you will want to purchase that. If purchasing materials provides hardship, please reach out to your county 4-H Program Manager, Karen Deighan, or Quilting Day Camp Leader, Dotty Burrows (603-284-6636) for assistance.
Commitment to help sew the quilt for the 4-H Quilt Raffle at the Sandwich Fair, October 10-12, 2025:
By attending Camp, you are committing to being present at the Fair to help sew the quilt for the 4-H Quilt Raffle. You will need to commit a total of nine hours spread out over the three days of the fair. Quilters have a great time during the fair at the 4-H Exhibit Hall working on the quilt together and talking to visitors about 4-H and the quilt. The quilt is then raffled off at the closing of the Fair, with the proceeds benefiting 4-H Clubs and Members.
